There's a user directory under my "C:\Documents and Settings" directory that
I'm unable to remove. Windows XP HE comes back saying that "C:\Documents
and Settings\<userdir>" is a system directory and cannot be removed. The
user does not even show up in the User Accounts.

Can anyone tell me how I can remove "C:\Documents and Settings\<userdir>"?

Don't remove this directory. This is a system directory and controls your
start menu and your desktop.

Why would you want to remove it anyway?
