Stuck Again

While making a spreadsheet, I created a macro to throw in
test data. I have now completed the spreadsheet, and do
not need the macro to be "assigned" to the spreadsheet.

I am unable to delete the macro, as the option to delete
is "ghosted". It seems that once you have created a
macro, that you are stuck with always having one macro for
that sheet.

Is there any way at all to remove/delete the macro so that
when I open the spreadsheet I am not prompted with the
window asking whether to enable or disable macros?

Thanks.

I had the same problem a long time ago and posted a
question to this Newsgroup and got my answer. It was this:

1. Press ALT+F11, go to VBE.

2. Find your workbook on left hand side (Project
Explorer), find the module that used to contain the
deleted macro.

3. Right-click on the module, select "Remove" and when it
asks for exporting, say "No".

Thanks so much!!!

Great instructions too!

I had given up hope on being able to remove it.
