Unable to remote control to VPN clients

We have remote users connecting to the office via VPN successfully. They
are able to browse all resources normally.

The problem is that the IT support staff cannot access the remote clients ?
We want to use SMS to remote control their machines and solve any issues
they may have. I am able to ping and trace to the machines but they do not
respond to SMS. Any ideas?
 
Alix, Can you check whether you have firewall enabled on the client - which
could block your SMS?
