This seems to be a recurring problem, so I will be as explicit as possible.
I have a Panasonic NV-MX8 Camcorder which has DV in and out (always enabled
as far as I understand it).
I have imported footage from this Camera using a firewire connection through
my Audigy Soundblaster card which has firewire. The video imported fine.
Having edited my movie I have tried sending it back to the camera using the
wizard in Win Movie Maker. I have tried with movies of varying length from 30
seconds to 40 minutes. I have 51 Gigs of spare space on my hard drive and
ample space on the tape to record to.
The Wizard runs, but nothing happens on the camera until it reaches to 50%
complete level. The LCD then shows PAUSE for a few seconds and the REC, but
no images appear on the tape. The Wizard reaches 100% and, on acouple of
occassions, has completed, but more often than not just hangs and I have to
press cancel. In either event, no images appear on the Camera, apart fromon a
couple of occassions when I have has the briefest glimps of some images, but
no more.
Any ideas please.
