Unable to record macro

I'm used to creating macros in Word and Access, and so am surprised that I
can't do so in Outlook (to print a simple form). What is fundamentally
different about Outlook that it doesn't feature a simple macro recorder tool
as in Word and Access?

Thanks for the suggestions: the query was phrased intentionally and
explicitly so no one would feel enticed to offer free service. Certainly not
to me.

That said, all I am trying to do, what would seem to be a simple matter and
without having to spend time learn VBasic, is to print a custom form from
within Outlook. Period. I would be easy to do with a macro recorder, which
is why I asked for clarification of what was fundamentally different between
Word/Access and Outlook.

I have created the form, saved in Word, and can execute it myself from
within Outlook via Tools | Mail Merge | Existing Document | [document name].
What easy way is there to automate the process (a la macro recorder)?

I don´t know why but there´s no recorder. If you don´t want to code it
yourself then you could search on www.slipstick.com. There might be tools
available.

See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/customprint.htm for various solutions to the limitation that Outlook forms don't support WYSIWYG printing. The Word template technique is the most flexible and highly recommended. The code isn't terribly difficult.
