I can send but not receive faxes. I have Windows XP, Del
Dimesion 4600 system, with the new Dell AIO Printer A940
and a 56K PCI Data Fax Modem for Windows. I do not seem
to have a BVRP Fax tool installed. What do I do?

Go to add/remove programs,windows components,edit the
box to enable the utility,when closeing out a window,
as you leave the boxes checked or unchecked,xp will
run as you left them,useing cancel,per window,or good
editing will help alot.Also go to start,accessories,
communication,apply selection(s)as needed.

Assuming you are using the built-in XP fax service, invoke the Configuration
Wizard from Fax Console (Start\All Programs\Accessories\Communication\Fax)
and enable Receive. You will then be able to receive faxes.

Do you have reception of faxes enabled? Go to the Fax Configuration Wizard
[Start->All Programs->Accessories->Communication->Fax->Fax
Console->Tools->Configure Fax]. Make sure your device is set up for
receiving faxes. If that is done and you still can't receive faxes, make
sure your modem is one in HCL for XP. To confirm this go to
