Unfortunately, I let my personal outlook 2003 email get over 1,000. I deleted
those 1,000 or so emails but now I still cannot receive email. Should I
uninstall and reinstall office 2003?
Any help is greatly appreciated

Then over 1000 has no impact
If you are using an OL version earlier than 2003 (or the later version with
the 'old' data file) then there is a size limitation to the pst, data file,
where problems may be experienced when larger than 1.6gb

Whats your OL version and what err msgs when you send a test mail?

Good News.!!!!! The MS office was version 2000 once i upgraded to Office XP I
was able to retrieve all my new email. So your mentioning of the version
install helped.
Thanks.....

OL2k & OL2002 use the same version data file, thus they both have the size
limitation
OL2003 / 7 does not have such a limitation, when using the new (default)
unicode data file.

Upgrading an earlier version OL to one of the later versions does not
upgrade the earlier data file. If your new installation utilises the old
data file, you have to manually create a new unicode data file, set it as
the default, and if neccessary copy data from old to new (NB do not
import/export)

I'm having the same issue. I have Outlook 2007, with three hotmail accounts
attached to it. My one email account is fairly large, but the other two are
small. The small ones I'm receiving email fine, but the large one does not
work anymore in receiving email. I deleted all my emails in the deleted
folder....I'm just not sure what else to do?

Thanks!
