Unable to read/copy photos

A new Meade camera/binocular 'Capture View' , supplied with a direct USB
connecting cord, connects, appears to load as a removable drive [E], but
cannot read or copy pictures. Is it a Service pack 2 problem, or XP Home
needs to upgrade to XP Pro?
 
When you see your camera listed as removable drive E and you double click on
it, does it open a window showing you a yellow folder icon, or do you get an
error message?
If you see a folder, double click on it to open it, you will see another
folder, double click on it to open it. You will now see a list of your photo
files. Select them and then copy them to a folder on your hard drive.
 
Thank you for your reply - I do not get a folder, I get an error message.

Can you tell us what the error message is?
