unable to re-install IE

I am running XP Home and I had to fix some program problems with IE. Now I need to re-install IE but I keep getting a error message of "detected a newer version of IE already installed. Setup cannot continue"....

What do I do... How can I get around this problem and re-install IE..

First, you need to set the registry key "IsInstalled" to 0.
