unable to pull up templates

I was unable to use any of the templates, the error
read "powerpoint can't read c:\programs file\microsoft
office\templates\1033\marketing plan.pot" Same thing
happens when I downloaded a presentation but the error
said it wasn't able to read it. The presentation was in
the correct .ppt. If anyone can help, it would be most
helpful!

Do a search for *.pot files and make sure they are located in the path you stated below. If not create the necessary folders and copy all of your *.pot template into it. If the folder and files exist try running a scan disk you may have a corrupted filing system or damage hard drive sector.
