Ok this has given me a real headache this morning.....
For network monitoring reasons I need to ping from one server to all
other servers in our network. The network consists of 2 separate
domains ( explicate trusts between them exist)
I have narrowed the issue down to this...

Server A in domain A has one network card subnet 212.*.*.*

The routing server which is in domain B( win2k sp4) has two nics,
subnet 212.*.*.* and 192.168.1.* and a vpn connection to server C in
domain B subnet 192.168.11.*

Problem: I am unable to ping any server through the vpn connection
from Server A.

Having verified the routing table and the trusts I discovered that
other servers in domain A can infact ping through the vpn, But, only
the ones with ip addresses 192.168.1.*.* , they also need to be using
the 192.168.1.*.* card on the router as the D/gateway.

So I believe that there is a problem routing from the 212.*.*.* card
on the router (which is the card2) and the vpn connection...which is
where the tracrt stops each time....

How can I make the 212.*.*.* interface pass packets via the vpn??????
I need both interfaces to work at the same time….

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Many thanks

I am trying to visualize your setup, but there are too many inconsistencies.
Can you be more specific with IP addresses/Subnet Mask?

Is Server A also functioning as a router in Domain A? Then that means that
its routing table is wrong. Can you post IPconfig outputs from the relevant
servers and clients?
