A friend of mine uses Powerpoint at work, where he developed a habit of
copying image files from Windows Explorer, and pasting them into
Powerpoint slides. While this works fine when he is at the office, he
lost this functionality on his home computer when he recently purchased
a new computer. Instead, when he pastes a jpeg image in this manner,
it instead pastes an object containing the filename of the jpeg image.
Copy/pasting in this manner using GIF or Windows Bitmap files works
like he expects, its only jpeg images where this problem occurs.
He can still use the insert picture command, but wants to use the
copy/paste method out of ease of use.
Does anyone know how to correct this issue?
