I have a user that had Access 97 on her workstation. She
now has a new workstation w/XP on it and can no longer
open the database files using Access 2002. All the files
reside on the server. She has Access open, goes to file,
open, and clicks the database file to open and gets this
message:"The database that you are trying to open or
convert is currently in use, or you do not have permission
to open it exclusively."
There are no other people using the database. There is
still another workstation on the network that is running
Access 97 and she can open them from there. How do we
resolve this?
Thanks!
