Windows XP Home edition SP1 (all updates on)
Internet Eplorer ver: 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.050301-1526

I was use to make my Web searches with Turboscout (www.turboscout.com/) and
suddenly i can't open it anymore!!
IE got me a message: Impossible to open this web page. (my translation from
french)
Every other web page i'm used to, they open without problem.

-I've tried open it with a friend's PC with succes, so no server problem.
-with no Cookie blocker it failed to open
-with no Pop-up blocker, the same
-In reference with: "some pages wont display in internet explorer 6 sp2"
from danthevan, 19/10/2005 , i've tried several things with no result.
* Check for HOSTS file
* Check for Java update
* Check for viruses and spywares and trojans with Kaspersky antivirus,
microsoft antispyware, Ad-AwareSE Personal, Spybot -search and Destroy.
Everything it's good.

any other idea will be welcome, thanks. ;-)

Dear Frank Saunders, thanks a lot for attention and help. I hope i am
responding this time in the good way..

I haven't found yet my solution.
in addition with things i have already do, i've tried else:
* to fix a possible problem with Winsock 2 settings, using LSP-Fix
(http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm)

* to install and use Firefox witch is itself also unable to open
http://www.turboscout.com/

* to open 20 other Search Engines with 100% succes.

* to make one more complet virus scan with Panda Active scan on the web: no
virus.

Well ! You can tell me that Turboscout is not really necessary in my life;
you're right. But i don't like those small bugs indicating my system is not
perfectly clean and even came seek. I don't like to not understand what
happens. At least, i like Turboscout..hi

But you are not concerned enough about the problem to answer either of my
questions are you?

Dear Frank Sanders,

you've just got me a little foot kick in my H. with your: "But you are not
concerned enough about the problem to answer either of my questions are you?
".

If your questions was : "Windows version? IE6 version number?", please, just
take a look on my first message header and read:

"Windows XP Home edition SP1 (all updates on)
Internet Eplorer ver: 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.050301-1526".

SB.
