Unable to open saved project

Whenever I try to open a saved project, I get the following error:

(MIcrosoft Visuall C++ Runtime Library)

Runtime Error!

D:\Program Files\Movie Maker\moviemk.exe

abnormal program termination


Help is greatly appreciated.
 
Actually, I solved my own problem.

Apparently, Movie Maker was trying to make use of a codec from other video
editing software that I had deleted from my computer. I unchecked the codec
and sure enough, the projects load right up now.
