Unable to open project file in .MSWMM format

I've installed Vista RC1 version a few weeks ago and make use of the Movie
Maker to make some changes to my project files. As I'm uncomfortable with
Vista, I've reinstall the OS back to MCE 2005 (which comes with Moive Maker
Version 2.1.4026.0).

When I tried to open the same project file, an error message was prompted
that the .MSWMM file was created by a version of WMM that is not supported.
How can I recover the file without reinstalling Vista OS?

Your advise is very much appreciated.

Interesting scenario...I don't think I've seen
it previously reported.

I'm thinking you are out of luck unless you
have copies of your .mswmm files that were
saved before you edited and saved them
with the Vista version of Movie Maker.

Thank you all for your comments. Looks like the file will be kept till my
next Vista upgrade in next xxxxx years.
