Unable to open PDF in web browser

I've updated to the latest adobe reader and changed it to my default reader
(previously used adobe acrobat), but when I try to open a link to a pdf when
I'm online, I get a message that I cannot open it in the web browser.
Does anyone know why and how to correct this?

You're asking in the wrong place, Diogenes (though there are in fact some
honest men here <g>)...

This forum is for the Microsoft database program Microsoft Access. You'll need
to get help in an Adobe forum, or one supporting your web browser.
