Unable to open .jpg files in Terma Server client connection

when viewing .jpg (using MS Photo editor) files while
logged in to a TS conenction, I recieve an error msg "No
File Format information can be found in registry...OK /
Cancel". OK on this message pops up "Unknown file format -
OK". When I try and open the file in another prog, the
file assocaitions are locked out (grey) and no other
programs can be listed. I can open .jpg files as anyother
user. I have blown away the ts profile and recreated a
new one (no luck). Any ideas? Cheers.
 
Check Windows command line documentation for
"ftype" and "assoc" command line utilities. You can write logon script to
users to assign correct associations when they logon to the server. As well
you can define file associations using Explorer
(Tools-->Folder_Options-->File_Types). But second way isn't convenient
because you will need repeat this operation for every user.

After all users get correct associations you can just delete script to
decrease login time.

File Associations are handled more strictly on a Windows 2000 TS. You
