I have an Exchange 2003 server - Windows 2003 Sp1 and Exchange SP2. It is a
domain controller and also has ISA 2004 on it.
I have a load of XP clients working fine.
I have two member servers - both running Windows 2003 Sp1 with Outlook 2003
installed on them (one is a terminal server which is why I want this working).
Logged in as administrator Outlook comes up with "Cannot start MS Office
Outlook. The Set of Folders cannot be opened" - and then exits the
application.
I thought this was a permsssions problem but it isn't.
If I set up the MAPI profile to use personnal folders as the delivery
location I can start outlook. If I click on the Adminisrator mailbox it says
"The connection to the MS Exchange server is unavailable".
If I click again it says "Unable to display the folder. MS Office Outlook
could not access the specified folder location".
If I wait and click again it'll work.
It's as if when going straight for the abmin inbox it's just too quick and
outlook gives up and exits. If you give it a bit more time but opening
something else first it works.
There seems to be a timing problem.
Please help as my brain is beginning to ache.
