Unable to open folder

I may have misunderstood your mail and this may be what
you have already done, but whenever I need to do this I do
the following: (for letting person1 see & use mailbox of
person2)
In Exchange server open person2's mailbox details. In
permissions tab add person1's account in "accounts with
permission" box.
Then open person1's outlook (from their PC!). Go to
tools/services pick MS Exchange server properties. In
advanced tab click to add additional mailbox & type name
of mailbox (as appears in Exchange server).
Mailbox should appear automatically.

What I did was to first create a delegate on person 1's email account of
person 2. I then assigned Editor permissions on Inbox, Contacts, Tasks etc
to person 2.

Next I went into person 2's email and did tools/services/advanced and in
Mailboxes added person 1 into person 2's email. So that when person 2 opens
there own mmailbox they would also be able to open person 1's inbox as well.
But when I click on person 1's inbox to view it, it says "unable to open
folder". But person 2's inbox works fine as it should.

It sounds like you have done everything right. One of my
coleagues said that he had problems with this before.
When he logged both accounts off then back on they
worked. He also said that sometimes you have to wait a
while (maybe half an hour or so) before it will update.

Does your exchange server update automatically? The
reason I'm asking is that we tend to access ours through a
management server (so that any mistakes can be caught).
To get our changes to go through we run a script to
update. If you have this maybe it hasn't been run so
hasn't updated yet. I've done that before and wondered
for ages why I could not find an account I had just
created!

Sorry I can't be of any more help.
