My fault!! I inadvertently wrongly completed a
computer 'form'. Now when trying to get at my emails I
display "The host POP3 could not be found Please verify
that you have entered the name correctly etc" Now I
can't find the original 'form' in order to correct it and
enter the right host name- how do I get to it? Thanks all

Tools/accounts is the probable location.

Thanks Jim - but am not able to locate Tools/accounts.
Went to Tools/Options but this does not appear to have
the answer I need. Any more advice please Tedd

I presumed you are using Outlook Express, Tools/Accounts
will show a list of all accounts created in the program (or
let you create more accounts, mail or news). Select the
account in question, click the properties button. Edit the
information, click OK.

What a dope I am!!! I could write a book about idiots
I've met and would put myself at the top of the list.
Thanks again Another question (you can tell I'm a
novice) I downloaded an antivirus programme
clicking "Open" (maybe I should have clicked "Save") and
now I can't find it. Where's it gone? Tedd

Open Windows Explorer, click search...search for files
created in a time period, enter as much info as you can to
narrow the search.

If all else fails download the program again and make note
of the path/folders that the default save uses, when you
click OK you will get a warning that the file exists if it
is the correct path. Click cancel and open that folder to
get the already downloaded file.

You should have downloaded it if you want it on your computer. When you
select "open" you just open the program, which is still on the server, you
didn't download it. Select "save" to download the program, and you can
select the location (folder) where you want the program to be installed on
your computer.

THANK YOU GUYS - I'D JUST SIT CRYING IN MY BEER WITHOUT
YOUR HELP. BEST WISHES - I KNOW WHERE TO COME WHEN I WANT
ANYTHING TEDD
