unable to open email attachments "Application not Found" wmv

I am unable to open email attachments- wmv. I had used Nero 7 demo but it
took over everything and in the end I uninstalled and went back to Nero 6.
Any attachment that would open with Windows Media Player now wont and I get a
message "Application not Found".
