Hi All,
I was using windows xo home with excel 2003 that crashed and I install
windows pro with excel 2007. I used easy recovery professional to recover my
excel documents, but I am unable to open then. I have run repair etc. it
seems that the files are now saved as .DBF, DBT,DBX or .xls Files. I have
tried advanced excel repair with no luck. I get the following error message.
"The file you are trying to open .xls is in a different format than
specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is
from a trusted source before opening the file. do you want to open the file
now?"
I gues my question is, is there a good program to recover the corrupt excel
files or am I out of luck?
