unable to open cd writer plus

can anyone tell me how to solve this problem. i canceled all the files that are suppose to be writen, i tried hitting the open button while rebooting system and would not work. i am not sure if there is a cd in the device please let me know asap

You can use a paper clip to open the drive or also by rebooting
should open the drive
