While connected via RDP if try to logoff it appears to just ignore the
command. The logoff option is on the start menu but clicking it does nothing.

Any ideas as to what would cause this?

CTRL+ALT+END while focused on remote screen and logging off there - does
that work?

Start --> RUN --> shutdown -L on the remote system - does that work?

How To Ask Questions The Smart Way

Shenan,

Thanks for the quick response, tried your suggestions at the client site
this morning. Ctrl-Alt-End brings up the expected dialog and clicking LogOff
brings up the are you sure dialog but after clicking Yes, you are just
taken back the the desktop!?

The shutdown command does work. So I created a batch file and put a shortcut
on the desktop for them to use.

Strange though why the menu options do not work?
