My laptop (Sony Vaio) running on Windows XP Home Edition was hit with a virus
called SVEHOST.EXE. In the process of cleaning it, I switched off the laptop
to restart. Upon restarting, I was prompted for a password to the laptop.
Mind you, all accounts on this laptop initially did not have password set.
All accounts on the laptops have being password protected including the
Administrator Account thus restricting access.
I've tried logon in safe mode with Administrator account but with same
result (Asking for a password).
Without having to reinstall Windows XP, is their a way to have access to my
laptop?
