Hi,
I bought a second hand PC with a Win2K Pro OS. It was
configured to run on a network. I changed the settings to
run as standalone, entered the requested Administrator
password and then booted up the machine.
It however, no longer accepts the password. Neither the
Admin password that I created nor the user password I was
given earlier.
Booting up from set-up disks and trying to use the
recovery console does not help either, since the harddisk
is encrypted. Is there any way to get the set-up disks to
run the encryption application as part of the boot up from
diskettes so that I can enter the passwords to decrypt the
hard disk ?
Regards
