Do you mean delete the machine account from AD and then re-
add it? How would re-add the machine account?
Thank you.

1) Confirm that the user logon password is correct (change
it to a known).
2) Remove the host PC account from the Domain and re-add
it (wait 15 min.).

I believe that Preston meant right click on an OU and
choose new computer. The problem with this is that this
account would have no connection to the original account,
other than the same name. Your computer would not
recognize it.

In order to log on locally you will need to know the admin
account and password. I am guessing that you do not have
this information.

I have used the above tool to boot an NT and 2000 server
and PC and then change the local Admin account password.

This allowed me to log on locally, which would allow you
to remove the PC from the domain and then rejoin it.

Ensure that the PC is in the right OU and not in the
default computers OU. Unless you want the PC to be in the
computers OU.
