DADSGETNDOWN

This was due to a virus, not the other one I keep seeing here about an MS
update
or real audio or nothing like that.
My computer gets to the windows loading screen then flashes a blue screen of
death with the message that it can not locate the user32.dll.

Man that was difficult to catch, it is so so fast, I had to use a digital
camera, and
take a 60fps video, then play it back frame by frame.
It can not find my user32.dll, how do I reinstall it ?

I would need to some how do it using the Recovery booting to the cd,
Which is windows xp sp1, but i can get to the screen holding R and load the
recovery,
but it's just a bunch of commands, which I am a little famliar with.
But not sure how to go about replacing a file.
I believe this OS is SP2, but I am having a problem finding that cd.
Can not get into safe mode or any of that. tried several things.

Or maybe put the drive as a slave on this computer ? and copy the user32.dll
from here to that one ?

We cannot reinstall over and keep your programs and all that, like we could
with
Windows 98 SE can we ? (:=

You do not need a video camera to capture a Stop Error message.

Disable automatic restart on system failure. This should help by
allowing time to write down the STOP code properly. Right click on
the My Computer icon on the Desktop and select Properties, Advanced,
Start-Up and Recovery, System Failure and uncheck box before
Automatically Restart.

Do not re-enable automatic restart on system failure until you have
resolved the problem. Check for variants of the Stop Error message.

Please post a copy.
