We have a windows 2000 server that is being used as a web server on
IIS. ASP .net is being used.
About 2 months ago, it started having some troubles and at times would
stop serving pages. When this would happen, we would get the
following application popup.
The event in the event log is:
Source - Application Popup
Category - None
Event ID - 26
Type - information
Description
Application popup: Windows - unable to locate DLL: Exception
processing message c0000135 Parameters 7cc31d6c 7cc31d6c 7cc31d6c
7cc31d6c
There are no other related entries in the event logs.
Also to note, simply clicking OK on the application popup window will
almost instantly start the serving of pages once again. There is no
set schedule that this seems to follow, but typically happens once in
the 36-96 hour range.
I know that this message seems fairly general and is of the 'needle in
the haystack' sort, but I am not even sure where to start looking.
Does anyone have any thoughts on where I might start?
