Unable to launch TaskManager or Rededit

Task Manager and Rededit run for only 1 second, then close automatically.
Norton and Pest Patrol don't recognize it when it comes through. Has anyone
found a solution for this problem yet?

Thanks Jim, but this file will not run on Win2k....just XP.....at least
that's the error I received when attempted to run it.

Everyone:
I fixed it with Hijackthis.exe. Then delete winlodr.scr and wnvvrfc.scr
in the Winnt\system32 directory.
