Unable to join the domain

Hi Guys,

One of my Windows2000 server crashed.After rebuilding it
im not able to join the domain.gives me an error:
A Duplicate Name Exists on the Network.Pls help me.we dont
have ADS

Windows 2000 domains require Active Directory.
Is this an NT4 Domain, then?
 
Try deleting the old account for the machine -- you might try just
"reseting" it first (right click on it in AD Users & Computers.)

Otherwise, try joining it under a different name.
