I have a Windows 2000 SP4 workstation that was having problems with policy.
I disjoined the workstation from the domain and it was no longer able to
join the domain again.
Running Netdiag /d:domain_name /v gives me an "No DCs are up" error although
the dc discovery return all 2 of the DCs.
Running the same command on another PC in the same network has no such
problem.
Type explorer /e, \\domaincontroller_1\anyshare$ return no error when
appropriate user & password is given.
There seems to be no firewall install on that workstation.
There is nothing in the lmhosts or hosts.
ipconfig /all seems normal enough.
Anyone has any clue? Or is there any log to trace what happened?
Windows 2000 AD domain with group policy
Cheers,
Jeremy
