On a newly formatted Fat 32 disk when I boot from the XP CD I get the usual
loading drivers, then when "Starting windows" the BSOD with the following
***Stop:0X0000007B (0XF797E63C,)X00000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000). What
does all this mean, and what's the next step?

Hi,

Indicates a problem with boot.ini. How did you partition and format the
drive? If you used a third-party tool, this can happen. Try using the WinXP
drive tools during setup to partition and format as part of installation.
