With so little information it is difficult to give a definitive answer. OK
you've got 200 professional, so one assumes you are upgrading? Tell us what
happens. The more details you give the more likely you are of getting a
reply with a solution.

Do you have the original Windows 2000 CD and product number? Have you tried
installing XP from scratch, i.e., slipping the XP CD into the CD-ROM and
rebooting the PC? Installation should proceed and then, at soem point, you
will be asked to insert the Windows 2000 CD to prove you are eligible for
the upgrade and then Xp should continue to install.

it. any ideas?

Please help us to help you. What does "it wont have it" mean? What version
of XP, Home or Professional? What kind of CD: Full, Upgrade, or OEM? Did you
try to do a clean installation or an upgrade? Exactly how did you try to do
it? What happened when you tried? If you get an error message, please quote
it verbatim.

Hi,

To install as an upgrade to Win2000, it has to be the Professional version
and either a retail upgrade or full version. You cannot use generic OEM or
Home version media.
