,On a new laptop I installed my full set of applciations and must have
overlooked a reboot between a couple of them . Now, when I try to install
Visual Basic 2003 I am blocked by a message box that says computer is wating
to reboot after an install, please reboot and then install VB. Of course, the
reboot has no effect as no matter how many times I reboot, the message box
pops up.
Can anyone help with a file setting that I can change manually to convince
Windows that the reboot occured or to remove a temp file buried somewhere
that insists on signalling that the machine needs a reboot.
I haven't experienced the problem with any other programs and am trying to
avoid reformat.
