Unable to install Networking components in XP pro

After doing some housekeeping,I cannot install Networking
Components in XP pro.
I have reinstalled the whole program, and yet it still
doesn't load! I have looked in "Telephony" in the
registry and there are no "Cards"
Can I get these files back Can anyone assist me?

Xp should setup network by its self.Check your

connection and reboot .
