After I "install" FPNW5 on a Windows 2000 member server
and try to start the FPNW control panel applet, I get the
message "The network path was not found." I get this
message even though I have the spooler service running. I
also get this message after uninstalling and reinstalling
FPNW.
One clue as to what my problem might be is the fact that
no FPNW Service Account was created during the install. In
fact, I was never asked to give the Service Account a
password during the install. I WAS asked to give the
Supervisor account a password. Creating a FPNW Service
Account manually on the local server, adding it to the
Administrator's group, and assigning the FPNW service to
it, did not solve my problem.
I have been going in circles trying to solve this. Can
anyone help?
