Unable to install DVD drivers in AIW8500DV

I just bought an AIW 8500DV and it seems to be working ok except for
one thing, I can't install the latest DVD drivers. The DVD driver
wizard from ATI prompts me to put my ATI CD in the drive, which I do,
but it says that the CD is not valid, and thus will not let me install
the drivers.

Anyone have any suggestions?

By the way, I bought the Vid card on EBAY and the ATI CD is origional

* Requires original installation CD for RADEONT
9000/9200/9500/9600/9700/9800 series graphics adapters or MMC 8.1
installation CD to validate DVD decoder update.

Not exactly crystal clear, but means your CD is too old for the latest DVD
software update, have to buy an installation CD to get it but why bother?
PowerDVD is better anyway!

I agree Try PowerDVD it works very well and has some very cool features.
