Unable to install backup

I'm in trouble! Had a disk crash and when I try to
install my backup CD'S at 13% of the way into the first
CD I get an error and backup terminates.
The error is:
"Could not fit translated attributes into buffer size"

In the past on occassions I have seen an error about a
unamed file in MFT file.

You may want to try seeing if there are any upgrades for
the software you are using, or firmware upgrades for the
device. It seems like you're experiencing a buffer over-
run problem. If you have the device configured as a slave
device to a master on the IDE chain, reconfigure it (move
the jumper) as the only device on that IDE channel. This
might help. Good luck.
