Unable to install aplications over GPO

Trying to push Outlook 2003 over GPO Computer policy. I only get an error
saying the installation source is unavailable, when it certainly is. Paths
are UNC \\server\softwaredir\installer.msi
\\server\softwaredir\tranform.mst

In that form. The testing pc boots, says performing outlook 2003 managed
installation and boots very shortly afterwords, only to have an error in the
aplication log about the installation source being unavaiable.

Any help? I did set the permissions to Everyone read access.

It sounds like it would be helpful to enable Windows Installer logging
using the article listed below:
223300 How to Enable Windows Installer Logging
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=223300

The logs that are created might point you to a specific failure. Most
commonly when software deployment via GPO fails, it is because the machine
account doesn't have permissions to the file share. If you've granted read
access to the Everyone group, that should not be a problem.

Does the OL2003 msi file apply successfully if you login as an
administrator and run it from the file share?

Strange enough, I found the answer on my own ;)

Nothing I saw in any article said that you need to set the security
permissions at the share level on the server. I added 'domain computers' to
the permissions to read, and all is good.
