Vista RC1

When I try to install Adobe Reader 8 I get the following dialog box.

"Windows Installer
(X) The Temp folder is on a drive that is full or is inaccessible. Free up
space on the drive or verify that you have write permission on the Temp
folder. [OK]"

I can't determine what "Temp" folder this is. It appears that I have full
access to the "Temp" folder under my user account. My account has
administrative privileges and UAC is disabled.

What should I be looking for. Thanks

Look in C:/Windows/Temp

Either that or download Crap Cleaner and run it and it will clean out
all your temp files. http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ It's free.

Is your Vista install on C or some other drive. Others have reported this
if Vista is not on the default C when attempting to install Acrobat Reader
8.

this is a known issue with the adobe reader. they have yet to fix it. just
google and youll find 10 different fixes on how to install it

Im not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but you have to right click
on the adobe setup folder, and run it it windows xp sp 2 compatiblity mode.
I got the same error also.

Thanks to all for the responses. James, your suggestion is the one I used
and it worked great.
