Sorry, the anti-virus is Symantec.. However, I've just discovered that
the
problem only seems to occur when my laptop is attached to an overhead
projector so there must be some conflict of drivers? Any workaround on
this?

What antivirus program are you using?
Have you rebooted recently? I'd start with that. (I know, it sounds
simplistic, but I'm totally serious!)

I'm experiencing problems adding a chart in Powerpoint 2003 - I

blank
placeholder, when I try to change the dummy data in the
datasheet, I
get
thrown out of PowerPoint. Please help, I'm trying to demonstrate
