I've encountered an interesting problem after trying to
install DSL - whenever you try to input text in a textbox,
IE crashes.
This started after I tried upgrading to IE6, which had only
one problem - when updating system setting after
restarting, I got an error saying that "DllInstall" could
not be called in "inetcpl.cpl". Thereafter, clicking on
text input boxes caused a crash. Also, the Control Panel
no longer displays icons, though they can still be accessed
from the Address Bar.
I've tried rolling back (no change), reinstalling (no
change), and repairing with Add/Remove Programs (an error
saying the dlls were an old version).
Does anyone have a clue what I can do to fix this?
Thanks,
Ryan
