I have an end user who cannot FTP, whether it be through a GUI client or
command line. I'm waiting to see if he is getting any return codes or other
messages. He wasn't able to navigate to web pages with IE but he could get
his email and browse network resources. I pulled the winsock entries out of
the registry and had him reinstall TCPIP to which that fixed the IE issue
but still cannot FTP. I also had him run system file checker and suggested
to extract a clean copy of winsock.dll. I've yet to see what SP he has but
he "should" have SP4 as our updates are pushed. Does anyone have any other
suggestions?
