Unable to enable ICS

I'm attempting to enable ICS on my broadband connection.
In fact, it was on a minute ago. I disabled it, and then
after coming back a bit later tried to renable it (and
things may have changed in that time).

I now get the following error:

Cannot enable shared access.

Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.

As ever, it never tells you what the hell this file is
(which would make it a useful error message). Anyway, I
haven't found anything usful in the logs, which tell me
that the ICQ service starts, then stops along with the
Application Gateway service. I cannot find anything on the
Internet either.

Help would be appreciated.

Yeah - I had this and it drove me nuts - finally sorted it but I'm not
entirely sure what it was that did the trick (so many twiddles were done!) -
I seem to recall running the Network Wizard and by manually configuring
things the system started - I had to manually start the ICS service too.
It's a really frustrating error msg - you might try
uninstalling/reinstalling TCP/IP too ...

Best of luck
