Unable to edit ODBC Data Sources

Windows 2000 Professional - SP4

In the control panel, click on ODBC Data Sources. Click
the SYSTEM DSN tab--See several ODBC Data Sources on this
screen. Unable to configure, edit, or remove any of these
items.

Any suggesstions will be greatly appreciated!
 
X-posting to microsoft.public.data.odbc (you might have better response in
that NG).

When you state "unable to configure edit or remove" are the options grayed
out? Or do the buttons just not function?
