Unable to Drag and Drop to My Docs

Cannot drag and drop a file to a Desktop shortcut of My
Docs. It creates a copy instead of moving the file. Only
happens with the My Docs folder, dragging to other folders
works as expected.
 
What happens if you right-click-drag-and-drop the file to
a Desktop shortcut of My Docs, then click | Move here |
?

Only happens with the My Docs folder, dragging to other
folders works as expected.
