Unable to download Beta2 antispyware

When attempting to download, I had to go through a validation process that
informed me that I either have an invalid Volume License Key or an expired
hash code. I paid for the XP Pro program and have a product key. There
appears to be no way that I can open a file that would let me check on this
key, or retype it. The "msoobe" file will not open for me either. The outfit
that sold me the computer and program wants me to bring it in to reinstall XP
Pro. (That's a 3 hour roundtrip I would like to avoid). HELP!!

Just because you paid for it, doesn't mean you got a legitimate license. I would take the computer back, make them reinstall it and prove to you that it will pass the Windows Genuine Advantage test before it leaves the shop.
