Unable to downgrade from XP Pro to 2K Pro

Anyone have any idea how I can downgrade XP pro to 2K pro?
it will give me a message that I can't downgrade and I
also tried format f: and i still got the error.
Any suggestions?
 
There's no downgrade path. You must do a clean W2k install.

The W2k CD install process will give you the opportunity to format and
partition your hard drive as you like.

Don't try to save any settings etc from XP, that'll be disastrous. Just
put any files you want to keep in a safe partition before you blow away
the XP system.
